Assault in Kettering Road, Northampton

Witnesses are being sought after a man was assaulted on board a bus in Kettering Road, Northampton.

The incident took place between 8pm and 9pm on Tuesday, February 15, after the man’s car had broken down at the bus stop. A bus pulled up behind him and the bus driver beeped the horn to get the man to move his car.

The man got on board the bus to explain the situation and the bus driver became aggressive and punched the man in the face.

During the incident the bus passengers have got off before boarding another bus and officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault to get in touch as a matter of urgency.
