CCTV appeal: Attempted wounding in Rockingham Road, Corby

Police officers have released an image of a man who they believe may have information regarding an attempted serious assault in Rockingham Road, Corby.

The incident happened between 2.10pm and 2.25pm on Saturday, May 21, when a man in his 40s was approached by two males wearing in balaclavas – one on a black e-scooter and another on a bike.

Following a verbal argument, the males pulled knives from their waistbands and attempted to stab the man to his body and slash his face. Fortunately, the man wasn’t hurt in the incident.

Officers investigating the incident believe the man in the image may be able to assist with their enquiries and are appealing for him, or anyone who may recognise him, to get in touch.

Anyone with information is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
