A charity single performed by a 'singing solicitor' has raised over £3,097 for the Lewis Foundation.
Kevin Rogers of WIlson Browne Solicitors organised the charity single in memory of his best friend, and former colleague Graham Hill who died of skin cancer 9 years ago leaving behind four children.
Kevin teamed up with Kettering General Hospital’s choir and Northamptonshire-based musicians Beccy Hurrell and Ian Taylor, to film and record a heart-warming rendition of Bob Dylan’s classic; Make You Feel My Love to raise money for The Lewis Foundation
All donations via the JustGiving page will go to The Lewis Foundation, which was founded in 2016 by Lorraine and Lee Lewis to provide gifts, comfort and happiness to cancer patients undergoing treatment.
Kevin said "What The Lewis Foundation does week after week is a shining example of kindness, dedication and effort, so this is our way of raising awareness and funds together as wider team, and a tribute to those we lost and those living with cancer. If we can help raise money and awareness on World Cancer Day of all days, then we have played a small part."
Lorraine from The Lewis Foundation added: "Kevin is a long-time supporter and advocate of our charity, and we are incredibly grateful to him and everyone else who has got behind this year’s track. It can be a sad, frightening and lonely experience for individuals receiving cancer treatment, but thanks to Kevin, John, the KGH choir, and Beccy and Ian, we will be able to help make a difference."
