Police in Northampton are appealing for witnesses following an assault in St Giles Street yesterday afternoon, Monday, May 23.
The incident happened at about 2.45pm, when two council enforcement officers tried to issue a man with a penalty notice for littering. The man refused to accepted the ticket and grabbed one of the workers by the wrist, causing minor injury.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 22000294571.
