Update: Abbey Centre and Daventry Library remain closed until further notice

Unfortunately, in the early hours of Friday morning (16 June), the Abbey Centre suffered damage as a result of flooding and will remain temporarily closed, along with the library, until further notice in order to allow the clean-up operation to take place.

West Northamptonshire Council have issued the following advice for service users:

If you were due to visit the Abbey Centre for an appointment, please make your way to Lodge Road where a member of our Customer Services team will assist you. Please do not arrive at the Abbey Centre as you will not be able to enter the building.

Daventry Library

If you need to use our library services, the nearest ones to Daventry are:

• Long Bucky Library
• Towcester Library
• Duston Library

Please be reassured that if you were due to return a book today, our library management system will be updated to extend the return date.

Registration Service

If you have a pre-booked appointment with the Registration Service that needs to be rescheduled or moved as a result of the building closure, the Registration’s team will contact you directly.
